The experience of bendy passes around the Traube Post Hotel

Navigating the Queen of the Alpine roads

The conquest of the queen of all the Alpine roads, the Stilfserjoch road, is the dream of every motorbike enthusiast. Starting from the Traube Post Hotel, continue along the Venosta Valley road in the direction of Merano, up to Prato allo Stelvio/Prad am Stilfserjoch. After 48 spectacular bends, you are then at a lofty 2,757 meters in altitude. Once you get past the Northeast ramp, then the rest of the tour is relatively comfortable. From Bormio, the Foscagno Pass and the Passo d’Eira are next, continuing to Livigno. If you have passed through the toll Munt-la Schera tunnel, the route back home can then be made via the Ofen Pass towards Tubre/Taufers im Münstertal or via the Lower Engadin.
